Master's and degree courses lectured by GNOM members

The GNOM group of lecturers is involved in teaching a wide array of courses across various academic programs, including both Master's and undergraduate studies.

In Master's studies, the group teaches in the Master's Degree in Statistics and Operations Research (UPC-UB) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Department of Statistics and Operations Research at UPC. They cover topics such as electricity markets, stochastic programming, statistical data protection, network flows, clinical trials and large-scale optimization.

Additionally, the group teaches courses in the Master in Innovation and Research in Informatics and the Master in Data Science at the Barcelona School of Informatics, UPC, such as Optimization.

In Undergraduate studies, the GNOM group lectures courses in several programs:

  • Degree in Informatics Engineering at the Barcelona School of Informatics, UPC, focusing on Probability and Statistics / Probabilitat i Estadística.
  • Degree in Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, UPC, where they offer courses like Mathematical Programming / Programació Matemàtica.
  • Degree in Statistics (UPC-UB) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, UPC, covering courses such as Introduction to Probability / Introducció a la Probabilitat and Linear and Integer Programming / Programació Lineal i Entera.

These diverse subjects reflect the group's expertise in areas such as optimization, statistical methods, operations research, and programming, catering to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
