GNOM at the Exploratory Workshop on Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming, University of Sevilla

The Mathematical Research Institute of the University of Sevilla (IMUS) organized this Explanatory Workshop on MINLP were some of the most outstanding specialist on nonlinear mixed integer nonlinear programming discussed the state of the art of the algorithms, applications and computing challenges of this difficult field of optimization. Prof. F.-Javier Heredia and prof. Jordi Castro attended the workshop motivated by some class of MINLP problems that arises in the statistical data protection and electricity market optimization. Prof. Jordi Castro was invited to participate in one of the pannel discussion describing the sort of MINLP that appears in the statistical data protection area.
