Jordi Castro (jointly with co-authors L.F. Escudero and J.F. Monge) received the Award of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Reserch-BBVA Foundation 2024 for the "Best methodological contribution in Operations Research" for the paper titled "On solving large-scale multistage stochastic optimization problems with a new specialized interior-point approach" by J. Castro, L.F. Escudero, and J.F. Monge, published in the European Journal of Operational Research, 310 (2023), 268-285.
