MSc Thesis on optimal management of microgrids

Last July 4 took place the MSc thesis's dissertation Optimal Managament of Microgrids of Ms. Lucia Igualada, student of the  Master on Statistics and Operations Research (MEIO), supervised by prof. F.-Javier Heredia (GNOM) and C. Corchero (GNOM/IREC). This work develops a new mixed integer optimization modeling for the tertiary and secondary problem of a Microgrid Central Controller, taking into account the day-ahead market electricicty prices. This work has been developed in collaboration with the Energy Economics Research Group (EERG) of the Catalonian Institute for Energy Research (IREC).
