New MSc thesis on wind power generation and electricity markets

Last November 11 took place the MSc thesis's dissertation Optimal sale bid for a wind producer  in Spanish  electricity market of Ms. Simona Scripante, student of the  Master on Statistics and Operations Research (MEIO), supervised by prof. F.-Javier Heredia and C. Corchero, both members of GNOM. This work develops a new stochastic programming model for the optimal sale bid of a wind producer tin the MIBEL day.-ahead market taking into account the randomness on both the generation of the wind farm and the spot prices of the intraday markets. This work has been developed as a part of the MICINN's research project DPI2008-02153.
