Research stay at GNOM of Prof. Silvana Bocanegra

Prof. Silvana Bocanegra, of the Department  of Statistics and Informatics of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, will be with GNOM for a research stay from 29.9.2011 until 30.03.2012. The research project to be developed consists on the integration of two different preconditioners within an interior-point algorithm for large-scale problems. These two preconditioners were previously developed and implemented by profs. Silvana Bocanegra and Jordi Castro. This collaboration is related with one of the tasks of project "Very large-scale optimization for data privacy, Research Project MTM2009-08747, Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. January 2010-December 2012".
