Introduction and objective
- Desarrollo de nuevas herramientas de optimización utilizando técnicas clásicas y recientes modelos que describan problemas de coordinaciñon hidrotérmica a largo plazo de la generacion de electricidad.
- Se tiene en cuenta el nuevo entorno competitivo impulsado por la Unión Europea a través de liberalización de los mercados, y la consideración de fuentes de energía alternativas (generación eólica además de hidráublica).
- Se emplearán técnicas de optimización de punto inerior y de flujos en redes para rebajar la carga computacional que suponde la alta dimensión de los problemas a resolver.
